
StaffThe Chamber of Commerce's Staff or as most people know them as "The Chamber Chicks" work hard to help promote Clovis and Curry County. From putting on annual events to sending out relocation packets daily, The Chamber Chicks understand how important Clovis and Curry County truly are.
Ernie Kos has served as the executive director of the Clovis/Curry County Chamber of Commerce for 12 years. She is responsible for the coordination of the chamber’s program of work, tourism and special events, membership development, government affairs, and community development. In addition to chamber work, Ernie is very active in the community, serving on numerous boards and committees not only locally, but also statewide. Ernie is married to Ron Kos and they have three children, Ryan, Jason and Christen and one grandson, Jayden.
Liz has been with the Chamber as Marketing Director and Special Events Coordinator for five years. She came to Clovis from England 20 years ago, when her husband, Tony, got stationed at Cannon AFB. Liz and Tony, and their two children, Sebastian and Stephanie, now call Clovis home. Liz's background is in graphic design and she does all the Chamber’s promotional work in-house. She also coordinates the Chamber's main annual event — the Clovis Music Festival and has recently been appointed by Governor Richardson to the New Mexico Music Commission.
Marjorie was born in Clovis and has lived in Parmer and Curry County all her life. She will have been at the Chamber 11 years on June 1, 2007 and according to Marjorie, it has been a wonderful experience. She works with Membership Services at the Chamber and she enjoys meeting all the people. Marjorie has three children, five grandchildren and she says she is "starting on the 'Great' grandchildren." Her home and church home are in nearby Farwell, Texas.
Cas has been with the Chamber since January of 2008. After living in Connecticut and Texas she is happy to return to Clovis, calling it home. Cas received her Bachelor’s Degree in Music Therapy at Sam Houston State University and has since worked at two churches serving as a Youth Minister and a Worship Leader. She is enjoys using her gifts and talents to help better the community and all of those that she comes in contact with. In addition to working at the Chamber, Cas is very active in her local church and other Community events and conferences. In her free time she enjoys playing the guitar, singing and songwriting.
